Can't remove Unreal Engine

Summary

So I had installed Unreal Engine 5.6 on an external hard drive and wanted to install it on the internal drive. But when I launched Epic Games and wanted to install it to my laptop, I saw that it gave me the repair option. I pressed the drop down menu and pressed remove, it starts but then gives me an error about the D drive (where I first installed it) not being available. I already tried to de-install epic games launcher and reinstall it, but it just stays there. The big problem is that I don’t have the external drive in my possesion at the moment, so I can’t just plug that in and remove it that way. Anyone who has a solution?
