Summary
So I’ve created a new update for one of my maps, however I haven’t been able to publish it due to Verse errors.
For clarification:
- Verse errors ONLY happen when trying to publish from Creator Portal
- All Verse codes compile properly in UEFN and Live Edit Sessions
- Private codes do work, this is only an issue for publishing.
- I had a persistent verse device that was active in the published game, but it didn’t actually affect the game or actual player save data. It was strictly for testing.
Since then, I have tried to add back the persistent device, however I am unable to do that since only 4 vars are allowed. Ever since deleting the initial persistence device, I’ve added a couple more that will actually work in gameplay.
And all my other Verse devices are extremely important to my map-- So can I get some advice / assistance on what to do? I’d love to be able to publish this new version of my map soon.

Additional Notes
I had no idea adding a Verse code would have this much of an affect on the island publishing.
