Can't place stair build directly.

Summary

I can’t pull out stairs. It’s bound to the R key, and even though I’ve reset my settings to default twice, it still doesn’t work. I’ve checked for conflicts and unbound everything from R, but it still won’t let me build stairs directly. In order to make it work, I first have to pull out, for example, my wall and then switch to stairs before I can build.

Steps to Reproduce

I load into the game
I press the R key for stairs and nothing happens
I pulled out a wall build
then clicked R and it worked

Expected Result

I want to pull stairs out directly by clicking R.

Observed Result

when I clicked R nothing happened, only when I pulled wall/floor/cone blueprint it built.

Yeah I’m also having this issue. It’s been around a week.

Note to devs: This is when using stairs on the R key; switching to any other bind works.

I tried unbinding all R binds in the entire keybind menu. Nothing works. Tried resetting, etc.

I am also facing the same issue has anybody got a fix to it? The issue persists with R keybind only and if I change to another let’s say P it works perfectly. Any workaround or does the dev know about this issue? why does this happen?
