Summary
Removing the new “edit list” window doesn’t take effect. Close it, it repoens all the time and is completely unneeded and unwanted.

It should stay closed forever until I reopen it

Opens on it’s own when launching a session

I don’t know if this is a regression bug report, and I don’t have the editor open to check, but did you try to uncheck Open Edit List On Launch?
