Cant log in... i have error could not establish a web session please try again

Actually I stupidly uninstalled everything to start again and now I can’t even download the Engine because I need to login :frowning: So I’ll try my mac and see if that works.

I looked in the cef3.log and this is a snippet of the first part of it if that helps ( ie a lot of blocked proxy going on there)

Hi zmoke,

Could you please try the solution that ZaidA4K provided?

  • Press Ctrl-Shift-ESC to open the Task Manager
  • Click Resource Monitor at the bottom of the page
  • Click File → Restore Default Settings
  • Close Resource Monitor
  • Start UE4 and attempt to start UT.

Ah, I’m sorry, I meant could you please create a new AnswerHub post (not in this thread) and then include the link? Based on the logs you posted, you might have some other issues going on.

No problem, looks like the issue was that proxy server was turned on, so all ok now.

Hey, I had the same problem. Resetting the password as if I had forgotten it fixed it for me.

Alright. I have made a small modification to your account. Could you please restart the launcher then try again. If that does not work, please try the suggestion Masur had. Please log into your account at unrealengine.com and update your password then restart the launcher and attempt to log in.

Thanks again for your patience. Could you please send us an updated version of your logs but do the following:

-Start the laucher.
-If it automatically attempts to log you in, let it time out.
-Manually try to log in with your username and password. Let it time out again.
-Attach those logs
