Can't download Unreal engine

Hello!

I successfully downloaded and installed Epic Games Launcher. I would like to use Metahuman, so it seems to me that I need to install the engine.

I click “Install“

But after some time of “initializing“ I get this error: MD-DL-0

I looked this error code on the Internet, and, following youtube video tried fixing it (I changed “HttpTotalTimeout“ from 30 to 500). This didn’t help.

I tried engine version 4.9.2 and 4.0.2 with the same result

Are there any other ways to get access to Metahuman?

What else can I do to download Unreal engine, if it is an essetial requirement for Metahuman?

Maybe you just don’t have enough space on the disk, Unreal Engine will require ~40-60 GB space depending on version. And it is also not recommended to download the latest version as the latest version often contain many bugs.

In this specific comment, a solution is shown that many users mention fixed the issue for them
If none of those options work for you, I recommend uninstalling the Epic Games Launcher and reinstalling it, as in some cases this resolves the issue.
