Just wanted to say thank you for re-enabling downloading in Quixel Bridge.
Will the download servers for Bridge be disabled again at some point in 2025? Any idea when? A heads up this time would be appreciated, so that we can download the assets we need, before that happens.
@Sinister_21 glad to hear it’s been helpful for you!
You can continue to download any assets that you’ve claimed through Quixel Bridge until it is discontinued. So make sure you’ve claimed the assets by clicking on “Claim Now” in the banner that appears before the end of year. (See details here)
At this time, we don’t have a specific date set for the discontinuation of Quixel Bridge but we will communicate any updates well in advance through official channels.
So I’m signed into my Epic account, I have the latest Quixel Bridge plugin loaded, the Quixel Bridge window appears and I see my purchased content, but where the Download and Add buttons are supposed to be, I see a “Subscribe” button. When I click the subscribe button, another window opens up and now I see Choose your plan. I already have a plan, but when I choose Unreal Engine, another window opens, and I get “get unlimited access”, I press that and then I’m informed that I can be set up with unlimited access because I have an Epic Games Content License, but something has gone wrong. I’ve tried this whole chain several different times already, but I’d just like to know if help is in sight.
Of course FAB seems to be working as well as it can, I’m able to add assets to my project, but as we all know the program leaves a lot to be desired, and some content seems to be missing or incompatible with 5.4.4.
Also, I can open the Quixel Bridge web app, and I’m able to download my content there too, just not through the in engine plugin.
