Cannot reopen Modal Dialog Widget with functioning responses

Summary

I dont know if it’s just me, and I can’t pinpoint it yet, but I’ll try. If you create an UMG Widget for a Conversation Device, attach On Clicked Events to the engine-provided buttons that output a Response, and close/reopen the engine, you can no longer load that widget without crashing the engine. This includes opening a session or just opening the file itself. You have to manually delete it via File Explorer and start over. I’m still unsure why exactly it crashes, but I have a copy with no Events and it opens normally. This is the sixth time its happened, please help, I need the UI to match the atmosphere of my game…

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new UI Widget Blueprint for something such as a Conversation Device
  2. Do whatever - but attach On Clicked Events that send a Response
  3. Close the engine, come back after some time, and attempt to reopen the file

Expected Result

The file loads normally as with any other Widget and you can modify it

Observed Result

Any trace of the Widget being rendered will crash the engine; you cannot even drag it into a new widget or verify it
