Cannot paint on sand

Summary

I made a landscape yesterday and painted sand and grass, but today I can’t paint over the sand anymore or remove it using Shift + Left Click.

Steps to Reproduce

I’ve created a landscape, made everything sand, than removed some sand (to make it grass again), but after some time I can’t paint over the sand anymore.

Expected Result

Being able to remove the sand to make it grass

Never mind, found out you need to select the sand layer to be able to remove it. Quite logical

I think you have to take the layers off. The one you’ve selected is a dirt sand thing like a quarry look which is below the sand/mud so even if it was under the sand/mud you wouldn’t notice

Select the sand layer further down then try again.

Think of it like making a cake that’s how i remember it lol start from the bottom crust and work up the top layer is the icing
