I’ve been away from UE4 and UT for a while and just tried to login to forums and it redirected me to create an account on unrealengine.com which I did.
But I am unable to login to the forums. I always get a click here to register link, even when I logged in to unrealengine.com
I have looked through a few questions, but none seem to answer my question.

I figured it out and am posting the solution for others.
I had the login window snapped to the right of my 1440P screen and use vertical tabs, so the menu items on the top bar of the website had hidden.
When I had the window maximized, vertical tabs minimized etc… the login button appeared.
Possibly, the sign in / login button should always be visible and not hidden to prevent this in future? As having the window snapped to the right of a 1080P screen exhibits the same behavior.
