I can use my account fine on dashboard and answerhub (obviously) but when I go to forums I’m never logged in, if I try to login I get no error messages and get redirected to the forums home page, but I’m still not logged in, I can’t see my account, I can’t comment on posts or anything… If I logout on dashboard and try to register on the forums I get redirected to dashboard.
On the homepage I allways see the message “If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ by clicking the link above. You may have to register before you can post: click the register link above to proceed. To start viewing messages, select the forum that you want to visit from the selection below.”.
Please help me so I can use the forums as I need to use them…

Hey Eric, and thank you for your hasty reply, but the problem remains, this only happens for the forum, the link you gave me directs me to the front page and is as I said before, I have the log in panel on the top corner of the page, I get the message about needing to register to be able to participate, and even if i log in I go back to the same place I was, still not logged in. Oh if I try to log in through the forum I get the message thanking for logging in, but when I get redirected to the forum I am still not logged…

Since the forums, AnswerHub and your UE4 account are all tied together with the same user name, Could you try to reset your password from here:
Go to your Account Page and change your password. Logout of AnswerHub and the Account Page then log back in with the new password. Once it is confirmed that this password is working to get you login into those, try the Forums as well. You should only need to login don’t try to register again for the forums.

Hey Eric, and thank you for the continuous support but I regret to tell you that after trying what you told me, after changing my password, the problem still persists, I’m still not logged into the forums. If you can think of any other method I might want to try please tell me, thank you for your help until now, and I hope you can help me further.

We really are still at it. I wanted to confirm that you are trying to login to the Forums with your Epic registered email and password and not just your user name? I absolutely expect that you are, but I want to make sure I run through some of the easier answers.
Also without telling me your password are you using any non standard, non Latin Alphanumeric characters (for instance a Cyrillic character or a letter with an umlaut)?

As for the second question I am only using standard alphanumeric characters, no weird stuff or characters at all.

Sorry to get back so late, but I was somewhere without internet connections… still I tried it again and still have the same problem I did it aroun 14:52 (UTC) Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London.

Thank you for your patience while we are working on this issue. So far we have had little success in reproducing the issue on out test servers and cannot see anything wrong with the account, however, I have one last thing I want to try.
Can you go to Download Unreal Engine - Unreal Engine and create a new “unpaid” account. After creating that new account, please go to https://forums.unrealengine.com/ and try to login with the new account. If you are able to do so, please come back here and reply as Akorra what your new account user name is.
If this works we will be able to port over all entitlements from the Akorra account to the new account.

I also had the same issue as you with the forums. I was logging in on the unreal page www.unrealengine.com and when i clicked register it showed me as logged in but i could’t post in forums. The solution was so simple i’m sure you have done this but you never know.
I logged in as usual on the unreal main page and navigated to the forums. Looking at the top of the forum screen, i was shown as not logged in but there are two fields at the top of the forum page for username and password. Simply logging in here as well completed my login to the forums and allowed me to write this message to you!
