I have the same exact problem described in very detail in this thread. Error messages, steps to reproduce and codes are the sameI did everything I could and also went through the SYSTEM permission fix that was marked as a solution back when the thread was active but it did not change anything at all. I also followed every single step from the support center but the only step that fails is DirectX June 2010 redist installation.
I tried installing Epic Launcher for the first time yesterday (February the 25th) exactly when Windows Update installed a security update for Visual C++ 2010. I don’t know if it’s related or not.
