Cannot create C++ project on Linux

Hi,

I installed UE 5.7.4 on Linux by downloading the pre-compiled zip and unpack it.

When I now try to create a new project, I only have the “Blueprint” option and the C++ option is missing.

Any idea what the Editor needs in order to give me that option?

Alright. After some time, doing something else, I came back to this with a fresh eye and it turns out that I had to select a project type at the top of the window. The preselected “First Steps” project just does not have the Option for C++. After switching to “First person” or “Third person”, the C++ part was there and I was able to continue. :slight_smile:
