Can the Chaos playback Cache plugin be used for production code

Hi,

I see there is a chaos cache plugin for caching destruction simulation results and then playing them back at runtime to improve performance. It is still marked as an experimental plugin and so I would like to confirm that it is not advisable to use it for production code. If it is not then do you have any timeline for when it will be production ready, or any recommended alternative approach for achieving similar results?

Hi James, and thank you for your question.

We do have clients using it in productions, but it is likely to be experimental for a while yet. The core part works, but it needs polish to improve UX and workflows which is why it isn’t tagged as production ready.
