can oculus rift be used as a tracker for virtual production?

I’ve seen many tutorials for virtual production on Vive trackers. I own a Rift, and so far I managed to connect the headset to the camera, but only for rotation, not for moving around. Also, it seems it’s not possible to bind the controllers to the camera to have more freedom of movement.
Can anyone tell me the degree of compatibility of oculus rift with the virtual production workflows?

Hi, did you came to any solution?
I created an Pawn with a motion-controller and put a camera as child.
So now I can rotate the Camera with the Motion Controller, BUT the translation depends on the HMD!
Moving the Controller in front of the HMD results in camera location changes!

Any way to track the Controller decoupled from the HMD?

Nope, I never managed to translate the camera, neither via headset nor via controller.
