Can Level Sequence Track Landscape Spline Material Overrides?

Basically I want to animate material overrides using the Level Sequencer. Is this possible?

You can animate a global Material Parameter Collection (which should undo changes when the Sequence finishes playing). This is probably the recommended solution.

You may be able to place the Landscape inside of the Sequencer but it does not look that easy to animate as each landscape component (which there ~64 with default settings?) would have to be added separately.

It does appear you can animate the parameters on the material in the component if this solution works for you, but this is not officially supported functionality.
