Can I still use my old action mappings in 5.3 somehow? (HP Reverb)

Our VR buttons (and tracking I think) for our HP Reverb G1/G2 controllers have stopped working between versions, and I really don’t want to update to the “Enhanced Input” because it’s just so cumbersome to set up for literally no benefit to us.

Is there a quick fix to still be able to use our old action mappings and Blueprint events?

If you set Project Settings → Input → Default Classes to Player Input and InputComponent (rather than Enhanced Input), does that work? We don’t officially support the legacy system for OpenXR in 5.1+, but I haven’t tried if the old one still works.
