Moon must be a directional light right ? So what i need is to create a sun which acts as a moon/skylight. Because what i understand is that lighting channels are working for directional light and because a sun is a directional light, it can be set to a lighting channel to illuminate or not illuminate an object.
are you using the SkySphere? that way you can choose the source for your Sun, and yes, you should set a Directional Light as the sun’s source for the SkySphere. I suggest you name that Directional Light as “SUN”. Also, you can add rotation to the skysphere easily. Its basically a sphere with half of it at night and half of it sunny. Add rotation during, I.E. 24 minutes for 24 hours, and for 12 minutes your SkySphere will show stars and the sun will be under the map, hence it wont illuminate at all your map.
If you want to, I can upload my project. Its 8GB though. Its a (yet) secret, non public project that Im progressively enhancing to simulate nature.
