I have a test scene here with a static room, static sky light and a dynamic door. As you can see, the dynamic door is not involved in baking static light and lets light into the room. Can this be avoided? I need the door to be dynamic, but to take part in the baking of static objects shadows and not let the light through.
I tried to change the Lightmap Type in Static Mesh settings from the ‘‘Default’’ to the ‘‘Force Surface’’, and then the door does not let light through, but another problem arises - as soon as I move the door, the shadows disappears from it completely.
