In projects with physics enabled, buttons since the latest version now require you to activate them from a specific angle in-game, regardless of their actual settings/orientation.

What Type of Bug are you experiencing?
Devices
Steps to Reproduce
Create a project with physics enabled in project settings
Place a button device with the default mesh and set it to activate something
The button will only activate the other device when you do it at certain angles.
Expected Result
The button should respect it in-editor settings/orientation
Observed Result
The button requires the player to look at a certain, sometimes extreme angle, for it to send an event.
This does work in a test project however its not really a viable workaround in projects where physics are a core part of the experience. HalcyonKnight mentioned on Twitter that this bug has something to do with line traces and the player capsule, which unfortunately we cant access directly
Is this the similar reason why many maps with interactables, be it later in a session or at the start of it, maybe using the button device would have issues? Like with many roguelike maps having sometimes an 50/50 for this, for a while.
Or some interact ables in tycoons be in weird angles, be it hit detection or otherwise.
