Buildings Meshed and Mashed, Rotated and Moved

I loaded my project to find that buildings have been meshed with buildings from the other side of the map, along with floors being moved, and walls being rotated.

This ruined an entire city my brother was building on my project.
Is there any reason it did this, and is there a way to fix it without rebuilding the whole thing.

Images showing the issue are below.

There is a structural support setting on architecture and its on by default. This makes all building abide to gravity, so my guess is that you built with gravity without supporting the structures, then once you launched live edit they collapsed. Use Unreal revision Control to prevent this from happening (so you can rollback versions), and toggle that setting off on every piece you add if you dont want that feature.

@Ginger_Dude1 Thank you for your report! We would like to look into this further, would you be able to submit a bug report using the form available here: Fortnite Creative

I have submitted a bug report, thank you

It’s not that things are destroying themselves out of the world, building pieces are rotating and moving from their positions

Did you use a cinematic sequencer by any chance?

No, only landscape editor and my brother placed all the prefabs for the buildings in Fortnite.

Looks like you have enabled editor snapping then. Do you have this ticked in your world settings?

That actually isn’t able to be checked, it’s greyed out on my editor

Something im noticing, the buildings loaded themselves in the hierarchy under the name “FortPlaysetRoot” with a bunch of numbers attached. The buildings that are mixed are in the same playset folder

what was the solution? I suspect it’s something to do with duplicates (holding alt while moving to dupe).
I made a support request in April and i was completely ignored. I am surprised to jump back in 6 months later to find many of my props are still getting rotated often: when flipped before duping (in-game only, they appear fine in-editor)… especially given that even wertandrew commented on this post.

Same thing happened to me, this time with different prefabs but the only tilted one is clock tower. I think it might be a one drive issue because of all the warnings it constantly gives out.
