BUG? Why have most of the textures in my level turned white?


A few weeks ago, I finished off a level and took the upper screenshot. Have made zero edits to it since. Today, I opened it up to get a few more screenshots and almost everything has turned white. WTH?

Anyone got any ideas what caused it and how to fix this? Do I need to QA my other 45 levels?

Out of curiosity, what does the path tracer output look like?

Thanks for asking. I hadn’t. Path Tracer looks the same. Just noticed some extra strangeness. Quite a few surfaces are reflective in the level and the reflections have the correct texture… but only from some angles. Can watch the texture disappear from the reflection as the angle reduces. Have tried switching off all the post processing, etc. but it stays the same.

Can you post a video? That sounds like SSR, or specifically SSR’s exchange with lumen traces. The fact that your hair still has the correct color is telling to me that whatever’s wrong is probably connected specifically to some reflections pass, but I’d need more information.

Found the problem. PICNIC error. Had a huge decal in the map to help lay out some of the stuff outside the aircraft hangar. Was set to invisible when I took the upper screenshot. Didn’t even remember it was there. Reloaded the level… decal is made visible again…
