[BUG] "Use custom depth as mask" bug?

I have been having this issue for a while now. Every project I create in 4.14 eventually succumbs to this bug. I take screenshots of models pretty frequently using “Render CustomDepth”. It works in the beginning with no problem, but it eventually makes it so that every time I open the project there a green screen that wont go away unless I open the High Resolution Screenshot menu. In some projects turning on “Game Mode” turns the green screen off, but in some they don’t. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

It looks like a lot of people are having this issue lately. It started for me a few months ago, but doing a Google search, I see a ton of others having this same issue.

This happened to me today. I’m using 4.18 so this has not been fixed yet.
I can’t use my project.
I’ve tried new config files and restarting but it’s still there.
What’s the fix?
