This bug affects both 4.16 and 4.16.1.
Symptoms:
When starting VR Preview from within the editor, with at least 2 players, every other time the camera will not track the HMD.
Steps to repro: (make sure you have a correctly set up; the bug might also manifest itself for other HMDs)
- Create a new blank project.
- Set number of players to 2 under play menu.
- Click on “VR Preview” under play menu.
Expected:
Every time you click “VR Preview”, 2 windows should be created (one for each player), and the default pawn camera in each instance of the game / each window, should track the headset movement.
Observed results:
Every other time you start a vr preview session by clicking “VR Preview”, the two windows will appear but neither will track the HMD. If you hit ESC to go back to the editor and then click on “VR Preview” again, then this time around both windows will track the HMD. If you repeat these steps you’ll consistently get tracking only every other time.
