Thank you for the report. I was able to reproduce this behavior so I’ve created JIRA UE-53024. Our develoipers will be investigating further. Follow that link to monitor the status of the report.


Having the same(?) problem here and want to add in case it helps:
If the distances between the HISMC and its instances are huge the problem amplifies and seems to depend on the camera position and angle relative to the instance. Also the problem occurs with only 2 instances added, contrary to the statement in the bug report which states that the problem may only occur from 3-4 instances on.

Have some problems (HISM problem with culling). I create simple test scene for this problem and reproduce this in 4.18.
In 4.19 version this problem is not reproduced. May be it fixed in 4.19 not in 4.20 (fix version in bug UE-53024) ?
