[Bug] Subscribe instead of Start-Button

I also tried all stuff mentioned below, nothing worked, at my wits end :frowning:

I’m having this issue as well at moment

Have you looked at post @anonymous_user_1da90bc6 made and tried what link suggests? Please let us know if that also does not help and we will be happy to further assist.

I’ve got it installed on my laptop, but my production computer is stuck on Subscribe. Tried uninstalling, applying config file fix, running as administrator, no fix provided has worked thus far. I was looking forward to working my my procedural map generator this weekend, but my laptop can’t quite handle it. Anything we could provide to help?

did not fix issue, log provided.

Same here. Just subscribed and I get this when I start launcher. Just a subscribe button even after doing all stuff suggested.

Exactly same problem here, subscribe not an hour ago, all excited to check out this brand new version of unreal engine, only to find myself greeted by a Subscribe button even I had subscribed. Any leads says they are addressing this issue anytime soon?

Same issue. I wasn’t even able to launch editor once, I’ve just been stuck with a big yellow subscribe button. I click it and it takes me to account page with all of my info and active subscription.

I’ve tried restarting, and reinstalling to no avail. I hope this gets addressed soon … this is really disappointing for new users.

Makes no difference. logs don’t seem to indicate any timeout problem, but rather that Epic end thinks I’m not subscribed (even though clicking on that Subscribe button shows that I am, with an Active subscription).

My logs (similar to MiDri’s):

https://.com/file/d/0B_FliOxI5-THRUJGaVBzaVRLc1U/edit?usp=sharing

Things I have tried:

  1. Restarting 20 times.
  2. Logout/login from within Launcher.
  3. QFE2 hotfix below (no Retry button ever appeared)
  4. Completely reinstalling.
  5. All of above with larger HTTP timeouts (I get past 81% thing fine)

This does not fix anything for me. “stopped at 81%” was fixed by INI HTTP settings for me and launcher seemed to update itself fine (or whatever it does). I still get “Subscribe” button, and no HTTP-timeout looking errors others have posted about in log file.

I need help, I’ve read through and tried everything to get past subscribe button and I still can’t get engine. version is 1.0.0-2039063+++depot+UE4-LauncherReleases. I am very thorough and still haven’t been able to get in even though I am a subscriber with an active subscription.

I’m also getting this problem, I tried multiple things suggested on these forums. With no luck.

I wonder where this problem occurs, my laptop is still able to start fine, so it must not be some kind of flag from server whatever subscription server?

Its same installer used on both machines(UnrealEngineInstaller-1.0.0-2039063.msi), so I don’t know what is truly different on two machines.

I’ve tried restarting, re-installing, modifying ini, and both of QFE hotfixes, and I’m still coming up with Subscribe button. I did a clean re-install and increased timeouts again, and here’s my logfiles.link text

Edit: Forgot to mention that my version was 1.0.0-2039063+++depot+UE4-LauncherReleases

Tried pretty much everything posted in both threads. Downloaded new launcher but subscribe button was still there.

That’s a new hardware but launcher works just fine on Win8.1 and is broken only on Win7.

I have same problem, is this what we are paying for-.-

Subscribed today, same problem.

Seems like that is getting this problem are new subscribers. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Same issue. Big yellow “Subscribe” button even though my subscription has been active for over an hour. Despite trying two of fixes with downloaded new launcher exe.
