What Type of Bug are you experiencing?
Devices
Summary
Varying bugs related to the Post Process Device
Steps to Reproduce
Place 5 Post Process Devices (Set: Retro, Night Vision, Crazy, Pixelizer, Happy Place. Priority 1-5. Enabled During Phase = None)
Attach 1 switch to each of them (On Turned On/Off = Enable/Disable for instigator)
Each switch is set to turn off if any of the other 4 switches turn on (So: Each switch will have 4 elements under “Turn off”, each being one of the other switches with “On turned On” being the selected trigger)
Publish the map (then load it up, of course)
Expected Result
Filters should apply regardless of what filters have or have not been applied previously (in said set up) and should work even when Auto Start is enabled and set to 0
Observed Result
If Auto Start (Set: 0) is Enabled, Post Process Devices (Set: Enabled During Phase = None) won’t work on consoles
If Auto Start is Disabled, Post Process Devices (Same set as before) will work but to varing degrees, for example: If you have 5 devices, each set to these filters (Retro, Night Vision, Crazy, Pixelizer, Happy Place… And device priority set from 1-5) then when you try to enable the devices (at least enable for instigators, haven’t tested others). You’d have to enable pixelizer, then crazy, then Night Vision, Then Retro, after which everything will work normally
There’s other effects that have been observed, simple ones as: Sometimes some or most or all of the filters will apply regardless of the “Enabled During Phase” setting, then some more complex one but these require a higher level of explanation and details (and more testing), though are all seemingly linked and results of the bugs explained previously
The same problem with Auto Start (Set: 0) does not occur in the same manner on PC versions either, though this behavour is different then console versions… Again, requiring more explanation
Platform(s)
PS5, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Nintendo Switch, PC
Additional Notes
This is just what I’ve been able to piece together, initially the bug seemed random though partly due to the differences from consoles to PC but I’ve since pieced together the things I believe are connected, though this may result in a poor explanation or the outcome not being the same for others… as well as other unexplained/unexplainable issues that’ve been observed
