What Type of Bug are you experiencing?
Devices
Steps to Reproduce
Place a Perception Trigger Device in the level.
Run the experience and enter the device’s detection range or line-of-sight cone.
Observe: a sound plays on detection/activation.
Attempt to disable sound via:
Device property panel → Sound FX options (disable/mute)
Internal audio components → set volume to 0
Run again. Sound still plays.
Expected Result
Expected Behavior
At minimum one of the above methods should suppress the audio. Ideally, a dedicated Enable Sound FX boolean property should exist and, when set to false, fully silence the device.
Actual Behavior
Sound plays unconditionally on every trigger event regardless of any sound-related settings applied through the device UI or its audio components.
Workaround
None found.
Impact
Blocks any experience design that requires silent perception-based detection (stealth mechanics, cutscenes, ambient AI logic, etc.).
Observed Result
The sound plays either way.
