[BUG]Crosshair renders as a black box


I couldn’t find the same problem on the UDN so I thought I’d give it a post.

I started out with the First Person BP Project (Not shooter) And trying to render a crosshair to screen but it seems every texture I choose renders completely black.


Any ideas?


Hi Jonathan,

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that this can be fixed; you need to change it from opaque to translucent (the reason there is a box) and reconnect the tint color (the reason it is black). The bad news is that you will have no visible crosshair still because this is a known issue and will be fixed in a new build. I have tested and can confirm that this issue has been resolved internally, but the fix unfortunately did not come in time for release.
