[Bug?] Cascade Background Color UI

The Background color UI in cascade seems to be having some issue.

By default the background color in the preview window is black, and when the background color tab is opened to change this by picking some random colors, nothing happens… it still stays on black.

However, when the color picker is used to select some random color it works. The color pallet interface works after this.

But, there is something funny.

Say using the color picker you took the color red, now these colors seems to be at some extreme points on the color pallet. Now, if you use the color picker and pick black again, the color pallet UI stops responding if you try to change colors within it.

Had this come into anyone’s notice yet ?

Alright got the hang of it. So by default selecting a color on the pallet will not change the RGB values but you have to do it with the eye-dropper tool… I might have misunderstood this for a bug or it might be a bug o.O ??

Value(V of HSV) is set to “0” by default, so whenever you choose a colour it shows black. You need to set it to 1 in order to see the colour change.

Thank you! I did mis-understand it after all
