Hi. I have problem with brightness of 3d plant from Quixel Megascans. Theyre too bright, but I found out the problem isn
t from material settings. I guess its SS problem. I used in my scene Lumen, Nanite and movable Directional Light, Sky light. Can
t find a way to solve this problem. Thanks
Hi BKM-C,
My guess is your foliage will have two-sided subsurface, but nanite will have disabled it.
So Can you tell me how I can fix and get good result
You’ll have to remove nanite, or remove the sub-surface in the materials and alter the color a bit to fit the scene better.
It looks as though Epic will be supporting this in the future, it’s hard to say when that will be though.
In Material Attributes i changed the shading model from subsurface to subsurface profile and it fixed the brightness issue for me !
