Bright (physical) lighting makes glass opaque in Path Tracer (5.3)

Translucent materials seem to render more opaque the brighter the sun directional light is. This is problematic for me as I am using 120,000 lux for my lighting, but anything past 10,000 is almost entirely black.

This happens on planes, primatives, and meshes.

This happens even with the most basic glass shaders described in the documentation.

Any ideas?

Thanks so much for the help!

I found the answer! My PPV had Max Path Exposure too low. Anything below 10 begins to fade out the glass. Setting it to a higher value and/or disabling it for shots without fireflies fixes the issue.
