Why is BoxMask-2D identical to BoxMask-3D?

Could someone please explain how the BoxMask-3D works?

Meigh, did you get an answer ?, I would like to know this too, can’t find any info on it.
Maybe this would be helpful for understanding concept (near end of post #1):
Dont know why they are identical but works differently.
Boxmask 2d was supposed to have v2 inputs instead of v3 so this looks like a mistake. multiplying the inputs by 1,1,0 should do the same thing.
