I switched to Unreal 5.4.4, but ever since I’ve had this really blotchy shadow or light issue happening in darker areas. Does anyone have a solution for this? I tried increasing the final gather and it gets rid of 90% of it but with -10FPS hit. I know there has to be another way to fix it but I swear I’ve played with every setting I can think of.
Use light actors to light your scene, not emissive surfaces

These are in a blueprint, do you think if I add a light actor to the blueprint that would be sufficient or would I meticulously have to add a light one by one?
Should be fine, just make sure you don’t place the lightsource too close to a surface, should be ~3-5cm away from any wall/object
