11/25 Update:
Today I was going to try creating Building Props again to see if this issue has changed for me, and I notice that the section in the UEFN docs covering how to convert custom static meshes into Building Props with Building Prop Blueprints appears to be gone. Are creators now unable to convert custom static meshes into interactable FN props that can be destroyed for resources and used with FN devices? Has this feature of UEFN been removed? Or has the process for making custom assets interactable changed?
10/26 - Update:
Building props are still broken for me, a month later. I can create props but when I test them they can be destroyed but do not grant resources or show the debris VFX. Also when I refresh the game in UEFN after deleting or adding building props, I get infinite downloading or a crash. After I initially posted this post the Epic team figured out that building props were the cause of other crashes I was experiencing, so you can follow the progress of this same issue on this other post: (Resolved) - Custom Building Props I create don't give resources and don't show VFX. As far as I know this only affects me.

I’m marking this as Major even though it doesn’t completely crash the game, because creating a Building Prop is pretty complicated and if prop functionality is intermittently broken, it could cause creators to think they did the process wrong even if they did it right. If harvesting is key to your game loop like it is for mine, broken Building Props do kinda break the game.
I formatted my building props the way the documentation recommends. I think I can tell that I did it right because the props work part of the time. But they stop working intermittently, and don’t disappear when I hit them. Sometimes they do disappear but they don’t give resources. I don’t really need resources for my purposes, so I just gave up on resources. I’ll make zero changes to the prop blueprints, or to anything in my game, and suddenly when I press play the game props are broken. I leave UEFN and come back, and sometimes props work, sometimes they don’t. Recently, I was able to destroy one prop in the game during Create mode in Creative, and when I pressed Start Game I wasn’t able to destroy props anymore. So the mechanic is breaking mid session.
Is anyone else having this problem? At first I thought I was formatting my Building Props wrong but I don’t think so, because why would they work part of the time if I was wrong?
