Blending height material

Hello! Anyone could give me some tips regarding blending height materials for landscape? The best result I’m getting is this:

Here is the screenshot of my alpha channel:

The main problem is I have no idea how to create an appropriate blend. I don’t know if it’s to do with my material, or with the alpha channel itself. I’m getting very strange results if I paint the areas around the edge white. Any idea how to fix this?

With height lerp, you want your heightmap to have lots of nice gradient values. It looks like your heightmap is either black or white which will not work very well in terms of modulation. Also you should post an image of your material setup for more advice.
