Bink Media player Subtitle

Hi, I was using Bink media Player in Bink plugin Following Document :

In that Document, Bink media Player Can use Subtitles just naming rules With Same folder.
But, in my case never showing Subtitles at all.
My foldering is like :

It can play well, but can’t got subtitles. my ue5 version is 5.03.
is there any way using Bink media with Subtitles?
or any tutorials?

In UE5, you can use the Bink Media Player to play Bink video files. However, if subtitles are not showing up, there may be an issue with the naming or location of the subtitle file.

To troubleshoot the problem:

  • Make sure the subtitle file is in the same folder as the video file
  • Make sure the subtitle file has the same name as the video file (e.g. “video.bik” and “video.srt”)
  • Check the Bink Media Player settings in Unreal Engine to ensure that subtitles are enabled and the correct subtitle file is selected.
  • If you still have the issue, you can try to use a different format for subtitles, for example, .■■■ or .vtt

The ■■■ ← text is supposed to be the 3 letter word for your bottom. The one used to take a dump with. Basically: “as” with an additional s added at the end.

first, super thanks for feedback. but i have still issue T.T.

here is more info by after do your checklist.

  • i have no Bink medai player Component. just have bink media player.
    => is that can be problem? should i reinstall or another version or something?

i installed UE5 Plugin “Bink media” ver 2.0.

Has anyone managed to get SRT subtitles to autoload?
