Big Light Halos randomly appears in Light build

At random occurance, after loading my level, my light build corrupts itself with entire areas of my map appering in overly flashy colors. I don’t know how to explain it, so here’s a pic.

I know its the build light because when I delete the map build data, or redo the build, it disapears.
The worst part is that I can’t replicate 100%, it will just happens sometimes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The build data is not for light, it’s for the overal structure of the level. Light build in embedded in the mesh textures.

Do you have any materials you’ve written on these meshes?

Hello Krioxbam and ClockworkOcean,

That the light Maps get baked into the mesh textures is not correct, the lightmap data get’s baked into lightmap atlases. And those atlases get stored inside the Map Build Data object specific to that map.

Krioxbam, have you made sure that you always use the same lightmap baking settings? This can also happen if you change your map (static light specific, i.e. static/stationary meshes, lights, etc.) but don’t update your lightmaps.

Vecherka, I was generalising there, I know it’s not actually in the texture

What I really trying to say is it doesn’t change after baking.

But you’re right, it is in the build data…
