What is the BEST method to achieve cel shading? I want the effect to be VERY accurate. Most PPE cel shading I find have weird shading shifts when rotating camera. I want something that works exactly how BotW achieves the effect like the video below.
Are you sure it’s a shading model? I feel like BotW uses some sort of HLSL that’s extremely accurate. I think this because there’s a glitch in the game that does what’s shown in the video.
I’m looking for the most efficient way because it seems the “Shading Model” is efficient in the sense where it starts getting messy when there are a lot of models using cel shading(it’s not modular).
There has to be some sort of “Custom Rendering” technique to accomplish this look.
