Behaviour Tree Tutorial not working properly on FPS template

Hi folks,

I’ve managed to follow the Behaviour Tree tutorial, outlined here:

It works well on the Top Down Template, however when I try to run it on a FPS template the character follows the player only intermittently.

If I go too far from the AI Character or at a funny angle it stops following me.

I’m sure it is something simple, as I’m quite a noob to AI.

Any help that can be given would be great.
