I’m a 3D motion graphics artist with additional experience in web development through JavaScript and Python. I’m looking for a learning path on here or external resources that teach C++ in a way that makes sense for visual learners and 3D artists. My goal is to learn Unreal Engine for cinematic rendering and gameplay work.
I’m comfortable working with node‑based systems like Arnold in Cinema 4D and Maya but I don’t have a strong programming background. I’m considering learning C++ directly instead of relying primarily on Blueprints. Is choosing C++ first a good idea for someone coming from a 3D art and motion graphics background?
