Begginer question: Volumetric Spotlight

Hey,

To whoever reads this, hope it finds you well! Just a quick noob question about something I’ve been struggling with within Unreal 5 - what would be the best way to go about creating a dark space with just a single spotlight that has a controllable amount of volume to it? I’ve covered most UE5 (and some UE4) tutorials about light, but can’t seem to get it right. While the lighting itself looks nice, I can’t seem to produce the “cone” of fog that’d be visible.

While I’d prefer not to have too much fog around that lit spot, it’d be great for the light to be visible.

I’m trying to create a dark scene with an object floating, lit by that light and with the volume present. A bit like an example I will attach. Appreciate your time!65ba044e61cd8bfd6aed672cee25627b
