Hello!
So here’s why tale of woe; I wanted to get more tesselation onto my landscape material, so I deleted my old one and made a new one. However, on my new material, the base color disappeared when my scene’s in lit mode. It’s no fault for my light setup; I tried several different ones to confirm that the material shows up as pure white, and I don’t think it’s the material either - it worked perfectly on my old landscape, and the color does show up on unlit and base color mode.
In my material instance, I have four materials - two mud ones, and two snow ones - and the snows are of course pure white, so what seems to be happening is that they override the mud color when the landscape is lit, however, all the other channels work as intended.
I have tried to start over with a new landscape, new layer infos, new material instance, new project, restarting unreal, restaring my computer, and nothing seems to work. I’m completely stumped over this, so any suggestions would be more than welcome.
Thank you
