When placing a barrier device, it derenders when moving away from close distance. Old barrier plate does not, meaning if we migrate to the new barrier devices, old levels will break. See video for more

Steps to Reproduce
Place a barrier device
Open live edit, edit device and set style to Starfield
Set depth 4 Width 16 Height 11
Push changes for good measure
Now fly inside live edit and watch when the barrier derenders
So create an instance of the material you want i use the normal barrier mat then inside that you have options for fade fixed by material. I would Assume they all work the same so try that.
If that doesn’t work try changing the bounds scale on the mesh comp of the barrier this will make it render more by increasing the scale very useful for wpo but might be a fix for you if the above doesn’t work.
Ok so I made a cube and set that material, so it doesnt derender now. Seems its a device thing. Still needs to be addressed but at least there is a workaround for UEFN
