Hello. I’m trying to render out a cinematic and whenever I do the video starts dark and progressively the auto exposure brings it back to what is expected. Is there a way to make the video start auto-exposed?
You can set a Delay Before Warm Up in the Render Movie Settings to let any post processing effects settle down before capturing frames.
Unfortunately it still happens. My recording camera is in shade and when I start recording the preview window shows some other location in the sun and snaps to the correct camera and then adjusts.
You could lock the exposure to a same value.

Disable Auto-Exposure in ProjectSettings->Engine->Rendering->Default Settings->AutoExposure
