Hi @SW_Etienne, the team is asking if you could reproduce this issue, then send us fresh logs right after? Sorry for the delay in getting back to you here.
Hi,
Following the latest Fortnite update, we’re no longer able to reproduce the original issue. We tested both the current version of the island and the early-December version where we first observed the bug, and the problem no longer occurs in either case.
Thank you again for looking into it.
We do have another audio-related issue we’d like to flag, affecting a small subset of players:
the setup of a sound from a sequence played via the Patchwork Song Sync device for a small subset of players.
Setup / details
We use a Control Bus to adjust the volume of an Audio Sound Cue for players registered to an Audio Mixer device.
The volume control works, but the audio does not remain synchronized with the sequence (it appears to drift / desync—possibly due to a different timing source or thread).
If we instead use Audio Sync in the sequence, the sound stays synchronized, but the Sound Cue volume no longer responds to the Control Bus settings driven by the Audio Mixer.
If you have any guidance on the intended workflow here (or a recommended approach to keep audio both synchronized and controllable via the mixer/control bus), we’d really appreciate it. Also, if there’s a recommended way to distinguish behavior between different player subsets for this setup, please let us know.
Best regards
