Assign multiple materials to multiple objects

Hi,
I have a car to visualize with 2000 static meshes, assigned with 200 Materials given from another engine (deltaGen). I want to transfer the car into UE4 to make an interactive VR scene from that.
I have downloaded the AutomotiveMaterials from the Marketplace and now I want to change the materials, instead of tweaking every imported material new.
Is there a possibility to make that process effective instead of assigning every single static mesh with the new material of the AutomotiveMaterial-Collection (2000 times).
I search something like “select by material”, and “assign material to selection” (like in maya or 3dsmax). If possible in the ContentBrowser not in the level. Is there existing something like that, or do I have to change my thinking?
What is the best workflow for that?
