Asset migration completely breaks skeleton, material and texture bindings

Summary

Any assets that I migrate from Unreal Engine stop working completely: skeleton binding is broken on them, texture references are lost in materials. After manual recovery in UEFN, the assemblies still don’t work. The process is shown in Video.

UE version: 5.0 → UEFN Failed
UE version: 5.5 → UEFN success

hi @ArcaneStudio ,

Please look at he documentation which is unique to UEFN import from FAB

Import from the Fab Marketplace in Unreal Editor for Fortnite | Unreal Editor for Fortnite Documentation | Epic Developer Community
Check if this causes the same problem.
If you import an UE5 standard engine asset directly, this will be marked as a “Found a disallowed asset”
in the UEFN logs and bits will be missing
