Summary
Asset Localization dose NOT work from v28
Steps to Reproduce
Create material and set base color red.
Add a cube in the level, and assign material to cube.
Right Click the material, and create localized asset (asset localization →
create localized asset → select Japanese)
Edit localized material (Right Click the material, asset localizaion → edit localizaed asset → Japanese) set base color green.
Launch Fortnite, change language setting to Japanese.
Close Fortnite.
Launch session.
Check the cube color.
Expected Result
The cube is green.
Observed Result
The cube is red.

Why should I close this issue if it doesn’t solve the problem? I don’t understand why.

I think that all Japanese creators have same issue.
We want to do asset localization like this.

In Chapter 4, we can do asset localization in that way.
It worked.
But now , it dose not work.

I tried today’s update, but still, asset localization does not seem to be working.

This was fixed today in 30.0 patch notes.
