Regarding the ratings system and its questionnaire.
1} If we are now being rated on a range of things from drugs, sexual content and things like blood and gore, does this mean in the future we will see more mature themes enter the creative space? Specifically in terms of Horror blood and gore etc? or that all games, creations and projects will have to keep at a standard of staying aligned with the same game ratings as Fortnite itself.
2} Most games feature of course weapons, but there is no blood or gore. Its more in the terms of cartoon violence. Would we then say yes there’s violence even if there’s no gore? no blood? making it I assume more of a T for teen rating. OR do we then say no and it becomes more of a E for everyone type rating?
3} What consequences could we see moving forward for wrong ratings and taking advantage of the system as a whole? Especially against someone who accidently mislabels their creation VS someone trying to cheat the system constantly. is it just warnings? a warning and a ban? losing their code and or publishing rights or access to creative? does it depend on how well the creator or teams history has been up to that point? of their merit?
Regarding the creative Portal.
1} Under the new section “What Has Changed from the Previous Release?” does this mean literally anything? Gameplay, the name, the thumbnail/art etc.? OR does it only pertain to things that would specifically change the rating?
(I realize this is probably in place for when a change must be made if it is determined by the reviewers to have the wrong rating and it needs changed, fixed or adjusted.)
For instance, if I have a map that is rated E, let’s say it’s a Hang out social type map, but I change it to a FFA with weapons, id assume it then becomes rated T. But if I have the name as (example) “Only Ups” and change it to “Ups Only” do I report that change? OR if something small like that doesn’t pertain to the ruling and won’t be affected by the rating system?
2} Continued from the question above. If nothing at all has changed, and we are just trying to publish it, for instance because we have to before November 14th to still have them in discovery and try to earn players, would we then simply type “Nothing” and move on to the ratings questionnaire.
3} Under the question asking for 2 emails, is this for everyone or is one sufficient? Because while testing before the AMA on one of my creations it only required 1.
